I know, I am a slacker.
Slack, slack, slack. I don't know why I haven't been posting... just one of those things, I guess. My bad.---
We're going to see Star Wars Episode 3 in Gold Class tomorrow night! I love Gold Class, even if it's a movie I'm not particularly interested in. But I am quite intrigued with Anakin's transition from good to evil in this movie.
I was always shocked that after his killing spree in Episode 2, Padme/Amidala just comforted him. It’s important to display loyalty as a wife, but I don’t think I’d be so supportive if my husband did something that drastic. I wonder how long it takes before she kicks him to the curb in this movie. Hmmm…

Seen in my travels (aka lunch-time walks):
A mother teaching her 3-year old son to ride a bike without training wheels. He made it a couple of metres, and she said “Great job! That’s awesome!” etc. The son, sounding shocked that he made it so far, said “Oh my gosh!” On the way back, I saw them again. This time, he made it probably about 25 metres!
A person laying on the ground. I looked intently as I approached, wondering whether it was a male or female. Turns out, it was both. A lady laying on top of a man. They were just talking, and were fully clothed, but come on! Not in public, people.

Last week on the Apprentice, Tana SO should have gone. Alex didn’t make any mistakes at all, but Tana…
(a) Didn’t properly allocate the tasks {i.e. marketing}
(b) Brushed off Alex when he wanted to talk about the marketing aspect of the task
(c) Made both her and Alex take a trip to Staten Island to find some jewels to put on the shirts. In my opinion, they did NOT need the jewels (Bedazzlers are SO eighties!), and therefore the trip was a complete waste of time {everyone agreed}.
(d) Sat there in the store, hand-gluing jewels to the shirts after the people had bought them. Very unprofessional.
Anyway, Mr Trump was all set to fire her. It was obvious that’s what was going to happen… but then came her speech. She basically sold herself back into the game! It was awesome. She really proved her worth. Alex tried to get the focus back on Tana’s failures, but it didn’t work. The Don changed his mind about firing Tana, and Alex left.
That being said, I was inspired by what Alex said at the end, as he was leaving in the taxi. Most people would say that they shouldn’t have been fired, sounding all bitter. But Alex was great. He said that he used to think it took years to set up a business, but now he’s confident it can happen within 24 hours! He has heaps of ideas about things he wants to do, and he’s going to get out there and make it happen for himself. The world’s his oyster. With that attitude, I really do believe that he can do whatever he sets his mind to.
Meanwhile, I would fully buy one of Tana & Alex’s shirts. They were awesome. Not for US $54.99 though!
